Special Rajasthani style Sabudana Ladoos!

  • 1/2 cup - Lotus Roasted white Sabudana ​
  • 1/2 cup - Sama Rice 
  • 1/8 cup - Lotus Nylon Sabudana 
  • 150 gms - Ghee
  • 150 gms - Milk Mawa
  • 1/3 cup - Almond Slivers 
  • 150 gms - Powdered Sugar(as per taste)
  • 1tsp - Crushed Cardamom


  • Step 1

    First dry roast Lotus Roasted white sabudana and Sama millet in a flame until it becomes slightly brown and then make a powder out of it.

  • Step 2

    Then take ghee in a pan and Lotus nylon sabudana fry for sometimes and keep it aside.

  • Step 3

    In the same pan add the dry roasted powder(step 1), some sliced badam and some milk Mawa/Khoya and keep it in a low flame for 2-3 mins and mix it up well.

  • Step 4

    Add some powderered sugar, ghee fried sabudana(step 2) and some elachi and mix well.

  • Step 4

    Roll the mixture into laddoos and enjoy.

Make sure to roast the Sabudana & Sama on slow heat for even cooking.

If the mixture becomes too dry while making ladoos sprinkle bit of hot milk.
